Pricing
It’s really important to me that yoga is accessible and especially that cost isn’t a barrier, so all classes that I run myself will have sliding scale pricing. For classes I teach at studios such as Studio70 and Meridian, the studios are in control of the pricing so you will need to check their websites for options.
I know sliding scales can be confusing, and it can be difficult to know where to place yourself so here’s some guidance for which price might apply to you:
Lowest price - for those who struggle to meet their basic needs and paying ah higher price for this class would be a significant financial hardship.
Low middle price - for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little-to-no expendable income.
High middle price - this is the actual cost of the class.
Highest price - you are paying it forward to support those who need to pay the lower prices, and allowing me to continue offering sliding scale pricing.
The price scales are slightly different depending on the length of the class and where it is, but for example for the Queer Yoga classes at The Wee Retreat this could look like:
Lowest - £3
Low middle - £6
High middle - £10
Highest - £14
On my booking system you can put the slider anywhere so you can choose a price in between these figures if that’s right for you.
You don’t need to tell me which price you’re paying or prove anything. I know money is tight for everyone at the moment, and I would much rather have you at the class than have you paying the highest prices 💜
